Description
A king must protect his kingdom, and must make sacrifices no other can make to protect it. So he pays heed to the voidsent whispers in the dark, taking a bargain in the black of night for the strength to protect his kingdom. The fluttering creature speaks of untold power in exchange for the king's soul, a paltry price to pay for peace... but when the king awakens he finds his kingdom in ruins, its name lost to time, and all that's left is the whispers in the dark.
