Although most of them prefer to use Magitek warmachina or automated machines, there are still a lot of foot soldiers that are deployed into the battlefield for specific tasks.
Take the Scout for example. Trained to their swift actions and efficiency in the field, they were deployed all over the Garlean conquered lands, in search for potential dissidents among the subjugated people.
