I came about the Clouddark Helm of Fending and felt inspired. I pictured an entity that lingered on battlefields, growing stronger, the more intense and brutal the fighting gets. It influences the participants, driving them to more reckless, more merciless behavior. Up to the point it gains enough strength to possess combatants - or their corpses - , becoming an active part in the slaughter. War is Hell.
