Master Xehanort (in his old age) inspired glam in honour of his former voice actor, Leonard Nimoy, and the closing of the Xehanort Saga (a few years late but better late than never).
I will just imagine that he decided to wear the coat (with variations of boots and whatnot) three to four decades after the events in Dark Road.
